He lived ready... Aaron S. Williams, 29, passed away February 4, 2010 following a long, proud and fierce battle with kidney cancer. A valiant warrior, he lived his life with graceful purpose. Diagnosed with cancer at the age of 16, Aaron deliberately marched to the beat of a different drum, defying all medical odds to graduate from Brentwood Christian High School in 1999 and the University of Texas in 2004 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. His talents were employed as a Research Engineer at U.T.'s Center for Electro-Mechanics. Aaron taught us how to live. His indomitable spirit, unwavering obsession for Star Wars and gaming, selfless love for family and friends, and contagious passion for Christ inspired all.

 Aaron

Today Dad and I had breakfast out at PTerry's and "Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole played over the speakers- one of the songs played at your Memorial. Dad said it was like a little visit from you. We both sat there in silence and a few tears fell.  Then we came home and watched the video that Choi and Adam made for your Memorial. Dad remembered Tara and Choi sitting on the floor going through boxes and boxes of pictures- laughing and crying as they talked about you. And Choi working through the night to put together her video tribute for you with Adam's help. As I reread all the postings on this site, I saw the post about the new rays of joy in our lives.  8/2/2019.  But you know about that, I'm sure.  8/19

We love and miss you.  Mom

  1. One more memory, which I'm sure you also know about. Tara. Married Josh (11/30/13) I'm pretty sure you would approve! Anyway, Dad and I are Godparents for their first child, also born in 2019. When I recently thanked Tara for keeping in touch, she told me, "Myra, that's what Aaron would have wanted." Thank you.
